
In the first quarter of 2025, 41% of the taxpayers on Armenia's list of the 1000 largest taxpayers were involved in trade. These 405 large taxpayers contributed AMD 152 billion to the state budget, representing 27% of the total income supervised by the State Revenue Committee (SRC).
In the first quarter of 2025, the mining industry dropped out of the list of the 10 largest taxpayer sectors, which is due to the fact that Zangezur Copper-Molybdenum Combine (ZCMC) was not included in the list of the 1000 largest taxpayers, as a result of a refund of royalty prepayments made in the previous year.
In the first quarter of 2025, a total of 97 construction sector taxpayers were included in the list of the 1,000 largest taxpayers- an increase of 15 compared to the same period in the previous year. These 97 taxpayers contributed 67% or AMD 11 billion more in net revenues to the state budget, than the construction sector taxpayers on the same list during the first quarter of 2024.
