Over the last year, 64.6% of the formal jobs growth was generated by SMEs

In June 2022, the number of formal jobs increased by 33,482, or 5.1%, compared to the last year.
During the observed period, the jobs generated by SMEs increased by 8.7%, and the contribution of SMEs to the growth of formal jobs was 21,638 or 3.3%,
If in June 2021, the share of SMEs in formal jobs was 38.1%, in June 2022 it reached 39.4%,
The largest contributors to the 8.7% job growth in SMEs were the information and communication sector (2.5%) and the trade sector (2.3%).
Small enterprises provided the largest contribution to the growth in SME employment (3.8%).
